Since 1995, Florida Citrus Sports (FCSports) Camp has been the cornerstone program of the Florida Citrus Sports Foundation. The Foundation is the charitable arm of Florida Citrus Sports, a not-for-profit, membership organization which produces year-round events in Orlando, including two post-season college football games, the Champs Sports Bowl and Capital One Bowl.Camps are open to girls and boys, ages 10-15, whose parents or guardians meet Orange County Community Action income guidelines. Florida Citrus Sports Camp combines sports instruction with a variety of educational programs.Campers will participate in sports activities such as: basketball, soccer, ethnic dance, golf, martial arts, flag or touch football and swimming. Campers are exposed to the game of golf, its rules and etiquette under the tutelage of professional instructors at the beautiful Falcon's Fire Golf Club at Seralago in Kissimmee.Fantastic Fridays will reward campers who participate throughout the week. Recognition ceremonies, t-shirts, field trips, individual and team achievement awards will highlight each Friday schedule. To enroll or for more information, contact Joey Walters, director of the FCSports Camp, at 407.423.2476 ext 150 or jwalters@fcsports.com
