Lawrence Leaves Missouri To Play For Seton Hall

Tuesday, September 2, 2008

(Sports Network) - Former University of Missouri guard Keon Lawrence has transferred to Seton Hall University, Pirates head coach Bobby Gonzalez announced Tuesday.

The 6-foot-2 Lawrence will not be eligible to play this season, as per NCAA transfer rules, but will have junior playing eligibility in 2009-10 upon his return.

Last season at Mizzou, the 175-pound guard played in all 32 games, averaging a team-high 29.2 minutes per game. He averaged 11.0 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game while making 20 starts, including a 25-point performance at Kansas.
