Albuquerque, NM -- (Sports Network) - Willie Galick netted a career-high 20 points to lead the Pepperdine Waves to a 90-83 win over the Binghamton Bearcats as part of the Lobo Invitational. Chase Griffin turned in 18 points for Pepperdine (4-10), which has won two of its past three outings and will play host New Mexico in the championship game on Friday. Kingsley Costain tallied 17 points in the win, while Marvin Lea notched a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Mike Gordon led the way for the Bearcats (6-5) with 22 points and seven assists. Troy Hailey posted 19 points in the setback, while Steve Proctor had 11 points and nine rebounds. In the first half, Pepperdine shot 45.7 percent from the field and took a 44-41 lead at the break. The Waves converted 16-of-21 free-throw attempts in the second stanza, as they earned the seven-point victory. Pepperdine forced 25 turnovers in the game, scoring 24 points from those miscues.
