Riverdale, NY -- (Sports Network) - Richard Forbes netted a game-high 27 points to lead the Binghamton Bearcats to a 66-56 victory over the Manhattan Jaspers in a BracketBuster matchup at Draddy Gym. Mike Gordon turned in 20 points and eight rebounds for the Bearcats (13-14), who won their third straight contest. Chris Smith scored 14 points to guide Manhattan (11-16), which had its three- game win streak snapped. Antoine Pearson chipped in with 12 points and Devon Austin finished with 11 in the losing effort. Binghamton made good on 48.3 percent of its field goal tries in the first period, as it posted a 34-26 lead at the break. In the second stanza, the Bearcats shot 50.0 percent from the field en route to the 10-point win. Binghamton controlled the boards, 36-28, and it also held the Jaspers to a dismal 33.3 percent shooting effort from the floor.
