New York, NY -- (Sports Network) - Ahmad Nivins scored a game-high 16 points to lead the Saint Joseph's Hawks to a 58-53 victory over the Boston University Terriers in the consolation game of the Holiday Festival. Nivins grabbed 11 rebounds and knocked down 5-of-10 shots from the field for the Hawks (7-5). Robert Ferguson added 13 points, while Pat Calathes chipped in with 11 points and four assists in the win. Tyler Morris scored a game-best 17 points on 6-of-15 shooting from the field and recorded four steals for the Terriers (3-8). Omari Peterkin contributed 12 points in the loss. St. Joe's held Boston University to a dismal 24.1 percent shooting effort from the field as the Hawks took a 26-18 lead into the break. St. Joe's used an 11-0 run and held the Terrier offense without a field goal for seven straight minutes as the Hawks went on to post a five-point victory. In the contest St. Joe's out-rebounded Boston University, 42-27.
