NCAA Game Summary - Cal Poly At Long Beach State

Long Beach, CA -- (Sports Network) - Lorenzo Keeler tied his career high in scoring with 22 points to lead the Cal Poly Mustangs to a 68-62 win over the Long Beach State 49ers in a Big West Conference showdown. Trae Clark added 10 points for Cal Poly (12-16, 7-8 Big West), which got nine points from Matt Hanson, Shawn Lewis and Chaz Thomas. Arturas Lazdauskas tallied 15 points in the loss for Long Beach State (6-23, 3-12). Brandon Johnson added 12 points for the 49ers, who got 11 points and seven assists from Maurice Clady. Long Beach State actually led 29-27 at intermission despite shooting only 34.6 percent from the floor in the first half. Keeler proved to be a clutch performer, as he hit a shot from the floor and two from the foul line in the last minute to help the 49ers claim the win. A key to the win for Cal Poly was that it earned a 39-29 rebounding advantage.
