NCAA Game Summary - East Carolina At Tulane

New Orleans, LA -- (Sports Network) - Donnavan Stith sunk two free throws with four seconds remaining in regulation to push the Tulane Green Wave to a 77-75 victory over the East Carolina Pirates in Conference USA action at Fogelman Arena. Stith wound up with 17 points, six rebounds and five assists, snapping the Green Wave's (16-14, 6-10 C-USA) eight-game losing streak. David Gomez posted a terrific outing with 21 points and 16 rebounds, while Robinson Louisme and Kevin Sims chipped in 15 and 12 points, respectively. Darrell Jenkins put the Pirates (11-18, 5-11) squarely on his back while draining 8-of-11 from downtown for a game-high 30 points. He and Sam Hinnant dished out five assists apiece, with Hinnant adding 15 points. Even though ECU netted eight three-pointers in the first stanza, Tulane led 42-38 at the break behind 14-of-25 shooting from the floor. The Green Wave only notched nine field goals in the second half, but their 15-of-18 performance at the charity stripe, including Stith's game-winners, sealed the two-point win. Both squads shot 46.0 percent from the floor, as Tulane offset East Carolina's 13 trifectas by outscoring the Pirates in the paint, 30-18.
