NCAA Game Summary - Delaware Vs. UNC-Wilmington

(Sports Network) - Daniel Fountain paced a balanced attack with 18 points to lead the second-seeded UNC-Wilmington Seahawks to a 82-59 victory over the seventh-seeded Delaware Blue Hens in the quarterfinal round of the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament.

Chad Tomko tallied 17 points for UNC-Wilmington (20-12), which will take on third-seeded George Mason in the semifinal round on Sunday. Vladimir Kuljanin had 14 points, Dominique Lacy added 12 points and Todd Hendley posted 10 points for the Seahawks.

Herb Courtney netted 19 points in the loss for Delaware (14-17). Brian Johnson contributed 12 points for the Blue Hens, and Alphonso Dawson had 11 points.

UNC-Wilmington went on a decisive 25-7 run in the first half en route to a 42-30 lead at intermission.

The Seahawks led by double figures throughout the second half as they cruised to the 23-point victory.

UNC-Wilmington connected on 56.5 percent of its field goal attempts in the tilt.
