NCAA Game Summary - George Mason Vs. UNC-Wilmington

Richmond, VA -- (Sports Network) - Folarin Campbell scored 15 points to lead the third-seeded George Mason Patriots to a 53-41 victory over the second-seeded UNC-Wilmington Seahawks in semifinal action of the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament at the Richmond Coliseum. Louis Birdsong added 10 points for GMU (22-10), which will now battle the fifth-seeded William & Mary Tribe in the title game on Monday night. Will Thomas chipped in only six points, but the forward pulled down a game-high 14 rebounds. T. J. Carter posted 16 points for UNCW (20-13), while Vladimir Kuljanin contributed a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. The Patriots shot 53.8 percent from the floor in the first half and went into the break with a 31-25 edge over UNC-Wilmington. In the second stanza, GMU put forth a tremendous defensive effort, limiting the Seahawks to a pathetic 21.9 percent shooting effort from the field en route to the 12-point win. The Patriots outscored UNCW by 10 points at the foul line, and also won the battle on the glass by a 39-31 margin.
