NCAA Game Summary - George Mason At Northeastern

(Sports Network) - Matt Janning scored a game-high 27 points to lead the Northeastern Huskies to a 70-59 win over the George Mason Patriots in Colonial Athletic Association action at Matthews Arena.

Manny Adako added 18 points for Northeastern (13-16, 9-9 CAA), which snapped a four-game losing streak with the win.

GMU (20-10, 12-6) was paced by Folarin Campbell, who scored 23 points in a losing effort. Will Thomas also added 15 points for the Patriots.

The Huskies controlled the game from the opening tip, holding George Mason to 8-of-23 shooting from the floor in the first half and taking a 30-18 lead at the break.

Northeastern kept its lead in the second half, thanks to a 62.5-percent shooting effort over the final 20 minutes.

The Huskies dominated the Patriots in the post, outscoring George Mason 40-34, while outrebounding GMU, 31-23 on the day.
