Riverside, CA -- (Sports Network) - Steffan Johnson scored 11 points and dished out seven assists to lead the Pacific Tigers to a 65-58 victory over the UC Riverside Highlanders in a Big West Conference tilt at the Student Recreation Center Gym.

Michael Nunnally added 10 points for Pacific (21-9, 11-5 BWC), while Bryan LeDuc came off the bench and also tallied 10 points in the win.

Larry Cunningham posted 18 points for UCR (7-20, 3-12), while Severin Gates and Sean Cunningham contributed 14 and 11 points, respectively.

The Highlanders took a 29-24 lead into the break, thanks to a mediocre 44.0 percent shooting effort from the field.

However, the Tigers clawed their way back in the second stanza, shooting a stellar 69.6 percent from the floor en route to the seven-point win.

Pacific overcame 20 turnovers in the contest by shooting an outstanding 65.9 percent from the field.
