Green Bay, WI -- (Sports Network) - Mike Schachtner scored 27 points to lead the Wisconsin-Green Bay Phoenix to a 71-66 overtime victory over the Loyola-Chicago Ramblers in a Horizon League tussle at the Resch Center. Ryan Tillema tallied 14 points to go with five rebounds in the win for Green Bay (15-14, 9-9 HL), while Randy Berry added 11 points to go with 13 boards off the bench. Ross Forman scored 28 points and hauled in 15 rebounds to pace Loyola (11-18, 6-12), and J.R. Blount tallied 25 points to go with eight rebounds and six assists. Green Bay shot just 40.0 percent from the floor during the first period, but a 6-of-6 effort at the foul line gave the Phoenix a slim 29-28 lead at the break. Loyola battled back during the second stanza, shooting at a 44.4 percent clip while holding Green Bay to a mere 30.8 percent from the floor. A jumper from Schachtner with nine seconds remaining tied the contest for Green Bay and forced overtime knotted at 57-57. Schachtner then scored nine points in the extra frame, as the Phoenix held Loyola to a miserable 25.0 percent from the floor to claim the five-point victory.
