WSU finally got on the board late in the second quarter, when Staden powered his way into the end zone from one yard out.

The Cougars made it a 21-13 game less than a minute later, when Louis Bland stepped in front of a Moevao pass and returned it 16 yards for the score.

OSU responded in the closing seconds of the first half, when Justin Kahut drilled a 28-yard field goal to give the Beavers a 24-13 lead at the break.

The second half belonged to the Beavers, who rattled off 42 unanswered points.

The OSU defense began the fourth quarter with a blocked punt that was recovered by Damola Adeniji in the end zone for a touchdown. Francis made it a 59-13 game early in the fourth quarter with a five-yard touchdown scamper.

Adeniji capped off the blowout victory with a 39-yard touchdown catch, delivered by back-up quarterback Sean Canfield, giving OSU the 66-13 win.
