News-journalonline.com reports that when Jeremy Wayne Carman, 27, attempted to rob the Edgewater Pharmacy he received a surprise reaction by the pharmacy technician.

Edgewater Officer Andrew Gaden said, "He passed a note implying he had a gun to the pharmacy tech, but she's been robbed before and asked to see the gun, he just left."

After Carman's robbery attempt was foiled, he attempted to rob the Publix pharmacy on State Road 44, but again left empty-handed. Carman was arrested by New Smyrna police after he left the store, and was charged with two counts of attempted armed robbery.
