KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- Kissimmee police will work Thursday to find out if an art teacher accused of sex with a 14-year-old boy had inappropriate relationships with any other teenagers.

Police say 32-year-old Melanie Fonseca admitted to the crime when they confronted her. Fonseca met the teenager while teaching at the Boys and Girl's Club summer camp.

Investigators say the two had sex in an apartment complex laundry room, across town from the Boys and Girls Club.

"It's surprising that it happened right here close to where I live at. [Because] you see it on TV all the time happening all over the place," said Jeff Fizer, maintenance worker.

Investigators say neither one of the two lived at the apartment complex where the criminal act happened.

Fonseca is being held in the Osceola County Jail on lewd and lascivious battery charges.
