Fire Officials Wary Of Rising Drought Index

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. -- Flagler County's fear of fires has them taking to the air every day. News-JournalOnline.com reports that the rising drought index has Palm Coast Fire Chief Mike Beadle concerned about wildfires.

The county is sending their helicopter up each day to look for fires. The chief said the hope is that catching fires early will mean a quick end to those fires.
