Toby Keith has one solution for cooling off during concerts -- he shaves his armpits.

Keith told the music critic for The Washington Post that it gets "so hot and sweaty" on his summer tours that he would come off stage and have to "dump water" out of his boots.

He said he just wanted to shave his head and "get down like a swimmer."

Keith thought it was funny that the reporter noticed his shaved armpits. He asked the reporter, "You don't have a man-crush, do you?"

Keith's new album, "That Don't Make Me a Bad Guy" recently produced the No. 1 country single "She Never Cried in Front of Me."

The 47-year-old musician is best known for his hit "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American)."
