WFTV is partnering with Bob Sorenson and his wife and business partner, Jody, to build a luxurious multi-million dollar home in the community of Independence, on Lake Hancock.

Encompassing over 5,500 square feet, the Mediterranean-style design was envisioned by Jim Ross of Ross Design Group, Inc. Bob Sorenson is committed to creating unique and beautiful homes that are an expression of the Florida lifestyle. With support from all of our sponsors, WFTV will build a gorgeous mansion with all proceeds benefiting The Russell Home, a non-profit organization that provides specialized care to atypical children of Central Florida.

TAKE A LOOK: Concept Home Virtual Tour

WFTV invites you to attend one of our Concept Home Tours. The mansion will be open to the public upon completion. Concept Home Tours start Thursday, June 21st and recur weekly through Sunday, July 15th, 2007. Tours are held Thursdays through Sundays, from noon until 6:00pm.

Not only will you collect hundreds of decorating and design ideas for your own home, but your $10.00 donation will directly impact The Russell Foundation.

Advanced tickets can be purchased at all Central Florida Ace Hardware and Robb & Stucky locations.

Directions from FL Turnpike: Take Exit 429 S/535. Turn south onto the 429 to 535/Winter Garden-Vineland Road. Make a left onto 535 and follow for approximately 2 miles. 535/Winter Garden Vineland Road will turn into Ficquette Road. Independence is approximately 2 miles on the right. Take second right (construction entrance) Old Thicket Trace, then first left onto Avenue of the Rushes. WFTV Concept Home will be on your left.

Directions from I-4: Take the 535/Lake Buena Vista exit and go west. Continue on 535 for approximately one mile and make a left at the 535 JCT. Continue on 535 and turn left onto Reams Road until it turns into Ficquette. Independence is approximately 1-2 miles on the left hand side. Take the first left onto Old Thicket Trace, then left onto Avenue of the Rushes. WFTV Concept Home will be on your left.
