Ninth Annual 'Vino!'Easter Seals Florida is proud to present its Ninth Annual Vino (formally, Vino, Java and All that Jazz). With new volunteer leadership, a new date, and a new location, Easter Seals Florida gives its classic event a fresh feeling.

The Ninth Annual Vino will take place Saturday, October 18th, 2008 at the Ballroom at Church Street, located in downtown Orlando. The event welcomes patrons to dine and dance with live music from local band, The Kronics, and food and wine tastings from local restaurants such as Ceviche, Ravenous Pig, Luma on Park, Urban Flats, Golden Kaan, City Beverage, Embassy Suites, and Shipyard Beer. Vino! also features live and silent auctions to benefit Easter Seals Florida. Media partners include WFTV Channel 9 and Smooth Jazz 103.1 WLOQ.

Easter Seals supporter and board member, Cory Taylor heads this year's event as the chairwoman. "I have seen the direct impact Easter Seals' programs have on the lives of children and adults with disabilities," says Taylor. "It is truly a privilege to be part of an event that helps raise the necessary dollars for this organization."

All money raised from Vino! goes directly toward enhancing the lives of children and adults with special needs who participate in Easter Seals' programs in Central Florida including Camp Challenge, a barrier-free camping facility for adults and children in Sorrento, Day Break at the Miller Center, an adult day health care center in Winter Park, and Altrusa House, an adult day care center in Gainesville.

Easter Seals is a nonprofit, community-based organization that provides exceptional services to ensure that all people with disabilities or special needs and their families have equal opportunities tolive, learn, work and play in their communites. Ninety cents of every dollar raised goes directly to client services.
