Slow Down O-Town, a Slow Food & Wine Dinner
As part of Gaylord Palms Resort's commitment to Slow Food Orlando, Old Hickory Steakhouse is hosting its second Slow Down O-Town Slow Food & Wine Dinner, a showcase event to spotlight the world-wide Slow Food movement. The dinner will take place on Saturday, October 25th, 2008, and will be hosted by Old Hickory Executive Chef Paul Player and Michael Honig, president of Honig Vineyard & Winery of Napa Valley.Each course will be introduced by Player and paired with an appropriate wine by Honig, who will also share details about the vineyard's industry-leading sustainability practices. The Slow Food movement is a global grassroots effort with thousands of members around the world that links the pleasure of food with a commitment to community and the environment.Date(s):
