Sanford's 4th of July on the RiverMake plans to join the Celebration on Friday, July 4th from 5:00pm until 10:00pm in Ft. Mellon Park along the beautiful Sanford RiverWalk.

Just after sundown, the sky will come alive with a spectacular fireworks display over beautiful Lake Monroe, presented by Zambelli Internationale. A synchronized soundtrack will be simulcast on MAGIC 107.7fm.

Zambelli Internationale is known world-wide as the First Family of Fireworks and has produced displays at Times Square in New York City, The Statue of Liberty, and Presidential Inaugurations & Mount Rushmore!

Groove the night away with a concert performance featuring the smooth rock sound of popular recording artists Orleans and Friends. This annual community event will have has plenty of great food and drinks, street vendors and a super-fun All-American Kids Zone.

Bring the whole family for an evening of fun as Sanford Celebrates the 4th!

Event Notes:

• ­Event organizers prohibit attendees from bringing personal fireworks to the event. Police and Fire officials will confiscate all flammable devices and sparklers for the well being and safety of the public.

• ** PETS ARE PROHIBITED AT THIS EVENT **

• ­Parking will be available throughout the downtown area.

• ­Concessions, including beer, non-alcoholic beverages and food will be served from 5:00pm until 10:00pm. Coolers are NOT permitted. The festivities will last a while, so it might be a good idea to bring some blankets or chairs.
