Share Our Strength's - Taste of the NationShare Our Strength's 20th Anniversary Celebration of Taste of the Nation event takes place Saturday, August 9th, 2008, from 6:30pm until 10:00pm, in the Orange County Convention Center's Valencia Ballroom.

More than 2,000 guests will enjoy a gourmet gala featuring specialties from over 30 of Central Florida's leading restaurants while sampling culinary sensations prepared by the area's finest chefs. Showcasing both talent and creativity, the combination of presentation and taste are sure to make the evening unforgettable.

Tickets include unlimited access to the signature dish samples, as well as domestic and international wines, beers, and gourmet coffees. Imaginitive displays, live music by Crash Reality, and a spectacular silent auction add to the unique experience.

Maximize your evening with VIP tickets that include reserved seating for only $25.00 above general admission price.

Tickets are now available through Colonial Bank branch locations in Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties.

Proceeds benefit locally Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida and Second Harvest Food Bank; state wide Florida Impact and the North Florida Educational Development Corporation. Taste of the Nation also thanks national sponsors American Express, SYSCO, The Food Network, Brown Forman and S. Pellegrino and local sponsors Darden Restaurants.

Individual tickets to the 2008 Taste of the Nation are $100.00. Tickets for special VIP Seating are $125.00.
