Fourth of July Celebration at Venetian GardensGet together with family, friends and the community as the City of Leesburg presents the annual Fourth of July Celebration at Venetian Gardens, Friday, July 4th. Festivities will be held at the Ventian Gardens, along beautiful Lake Harris.

Activities & Events:

• Rides for the kids (tickets will be sold) and food vendors from NOON until 9:00pm!

• FREE swimming for the public at Venetian Gardens Pool and H.O. Dabney Pool; lots of fun, games and PRIZES, too! Open NOON to 7:00pm.

• All Ages Coed Volleyball Tournament at Ski Beach starting at 11:00am. Cost $20.00 per person. Registration begins at 10:00am.

• FREE Watermelon Slices will be handed out (until gone) by The 2008 Florida Watermelon Queen, Kaley Jo Harper, at the entrance of Pat Thomas Stadium at 5:00pm. She will also be throwing one of the ceremonial first pitches at the game.

• FREE Concert with Shane Wooten and Matt Wilde at Ski Beach in Venetian Gardens starting from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

• FREE Ice Cream will be served on Ski Beach starting at 8:00pm by your elected City Officials and City Staff. Come up and say hello!!

• FREE Florida Collegiate Summer Baseball League featuring U.S. Military All-Stars vs. Leesburg Lightning at Pat Thomas Stadium starting at 6:00pm.

• At approximately 9:15, the night sky will light up with a FREE aerial fireworks display presented by Dragonworks!
