Splashes & Sparks - Palm Bay's 4th of July CelebrationThe Palm Bay Utilities Department has teamed up with Palm Bay Parks and Recreation to host Splashes and Sparks - Palm Bay's 4th of July Celebration. This event will combine events previously known as 'WaterFest' and 'FreedomFest.'

Splashes and Sparks will be held at the BCC Palm Bay Campus with activities beginning at 3:00pm on Friday, July 4th, 2008. During the day, there will be a variety of field games, jump houses, water slides, and activities for children, as well as live entertainment and craft booths for the adults. Kids ( ages 2-12) bring your decorated bicycles for the Patriotic Bicycle Parade. This will be a day of fun and play for the entire family! This event will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display around 9:15pm.

Event entertainment features Jim Van Fleet & the Reign, and the finals of our 2008 Palm Bay Idol competition including a live performance from last year's Palm Bay Idol winner, Lauren Cosentino.

Browse through our crafters, business sponsor booths, and visit the many water conservation exhibits that will be on display.
