Red Hot & BoomThe City of Altamonte Springs and XL106.7 FM are ready to rock another memorable Independence Day celebration during the 13th Annual Red Hot & Boom.

Held on Thursday, July 3rd, the event features a lineup of eight recording artists along with an amazing 25-minute, musically choreographed, pyrotechnics display featuring water shells, waterfall displays and over 10,000 shells shot in rapid fire fashion from floating barges on Cranes Roost Lake, making it one of the most thrilling and intimate shows anywhere.

Headlining this year's big lineup are multi-platinum rockers Simple Plan, along with Ryan Cabrera (hit single 'Say'), Ace Young (American Idol season 5 finalist), Kate Voegele (featured artist on the CW's hit television series 'One Tree Hill'), Graham Colton (hit single 'Best Days'), Kevin Michael ('It Don't Make Any Difference To Me (One Love)' featuring Wyclef Jean) and local favorites Mark & James and A-Lure.

Food, beverages and novelty items will be available for purchase inside the venue. In addition there is a kid's play area, handicapped viewing location in the Eddie Rose Amphitheater and numerous visual opportunities of the expected crowd of 150,000, eight entertainers on the floating stage and the fantastic fireworks show all located in the beautiful Uptown Altamonte park setting.

Red Hot & Boom is FREE and open to the public. No coolers, pets or personal fireworks will be allowed in the event venue or surrounding parking areas. Traffic close to the venue may be congested, so event goers are urged to arrive early to avoid delays. Those who live close enough to walk to the event are encouraged to do so.
