Hayes Meats & Gourmet Foods, located at 285 Fortenberry Road on Merritt Island will be hosting the 5th Annual Whiskers, Wags & Wine event to benefit the Central Brevard Humane Society on Saturday, March 16th, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission is FREE for everyone including the "furry" friends.  The event will feature wine tasting, BBQ, FREE beer, music by London Ink, a book signing of Old Dog New Chefs by Stuart Borton of the Yellow Dog Café, chair massages, raffle (items include therapeutic massages, spa facials, $139 Hayes Meat Package & biplane rides) & door prizes and much, much more!  All animals must be on a leash or in a carrier and have proof of current shots along with a county tag.

The Central Brevard Humane Society will be at the event with shelter dogs available for adoption, merchandise and fun educational information about responsible pet ownership.

Proceeds from this event will help to raise awareness and financial support for the thousands of unwanted and abandoned pets that visit the Humane Society each year, who need a safe and loving "forever" home.
