The 2nd Annual UpTown Art Expo takes place Saturday and Sunday, February 16th and 17th, 2013, in and around Cranes Roost Park in Altamonte Springs.

The streets along beautiful Cranes Roost Park in Altamonte Springs, Florida will come alive with artisans showcasing their talents, color and music.

The free admission art and music festival will feature 130 artist displays of jewelry, glass, fine crafts, paintings, photography, pottery and sculpture available for purchase.  The Uptown Art Expo art & chalk displays will be judged for $8,850 in cash awards.

Visitors can experience the awe in artwork created before their eyes in the Chalk Street Painting section as Cranes Roost Boulevard is turned into a "Canvas" with mesmerizing chalk masterpieces by experienced street painters.

More than 20,000 patrons will enjoy the art exhibits along with live concerts featuring music legends Marty Balin of Jefferson Airplane/Starship, Firefall Trio and American Pop 60's. Uptown Art Expo is a exciting electric festival and offers fun for the entire family with children's activities, festival foods and free parking in the Altamonte Springs Mall parking lot.
