WHO: Thousands of Orlando residents come to cheer on their dog. Dogs of all breeds, ages and sizes are welcome.

WHAT: The 6th Annual Doggie Derby brings the community together to celebrate Man's Best Friend while helping kids and families. Families enjoy a festive atmosphere with friends, furry and otherwise. Canines compete with dogs of similar size in a single-elimination, 25-yard sprint race. Champions are declared and trophies and prizes awarded in each of the four weight divisions and the overall winner receives the Grand Prize.

WHY: Brightside Events initiated the Stock the Pantry Program after learning that over one-hundred students that attend schools surrounding Baldwin Park are homeless. These students rely heavily on meals provided during school hours. The Stock the Pantry Program provides non-perishable food over extended school breaks so they will not have to go without.
