The glory and mystery of glass comes to the Orlando Museum of Art's 1st Thursdays event Classical Glass, January 3, from 6:00pm until 9:00pm. Murano style, artisans present colorful pieces of blown glassware and Renaissance-style stained glass works.
Music performed by The Glazer Trio and delectable food dished up by Tolla's Italian Deli & Café. Stop by and learn more about the arts movement in Central Florida by visiting with representatives of Florida Artists Registry and Red Chair Project.
Café offerings, handcrafted beers, wine, soft drinks and water will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
Admission to 1st Thursdays is $10, always free for OMA Members, and includes admission to the OMA's featured exhibition Contemporary Glass Sculpture: Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Studio Glass.
