Orlando's original art party, now in its fourteenth season, is the award-winning 1st Thursdays presented by the Associates, an Orlando Museum of Art (OMA) volunteer support group committed to expanding OMA membership and encouraging the appreciation of the visual arts.

From 6:00pm to 9:00pm on the first Thursday of each month, the OMA showcases a new theme with works by local artists. There is also live music and café offerings, handcrafted beers, wine and soft drinks are available for purchase throughout the evening. Plus, 1st Thursdays guests receive free entrance to the OMA's featured exhibitions.

The theme for May is Boiler Plate Ball: Steampunk Steps Out. Artists provide an alternative view to their work, whether it is steampunk, dieselpunk or clockpunk, showing their insight, wit and humor.

Admission is free for OMA Members; $10 for non-Members.
