The Art & History Museums – Maitland (A&H) concludes its 2012 Summer Concert Series on Friday, September 14 with a lively program featuring Daniel Heitz and the Revelators. The concert takes place at 7:00 PM in the A&H’s beautiful Main Garden, 231 W. Packwood Avenue, Maitland. Presented by the A&H Associates, volunteer corps of the Art & History Museums – Maitland (A&H), in partnership with Performing Arts of Maitland, the Summer Concert Series is held on the second Friday of every month, May – September.
Sixteen-year old guitarist Daniel Heitz leads his band The Revelators in a program of blues and rock. This kid has the chops, stage presence and talent! The Revelators are Scott Hazen on drums, Bill Bairly on keys & vocals, and Dan Heitzhausen on bass guitar and vocals. Guests are sure to enjoy this lively evening of music, friendship and fun.
Patrons can also hear literary readings from Maitland Poets & Writers, stop by the A&H’s Main Galleries to view the exhibition: A Day in the Life of the Research Studio, and shop at the Museum Store. Mama's Fixins Food Truck is available with a variety of food for hungry concert-goers, and The Enzian brings delicious hot popcorn. A bar is available for those who would like to purchase alcohol. Guests are not permitted to bring in their own alcohol. Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or a low-backed chair.
