This September, six of Central Florida’s bravest professionals will don sequins and dancing shoes to shake and shimmy for a good cause. Community Based Care of Central Florida (CBCCFL) is hosting its second annual Dance, Dream & Inspire - a fundraising gala to help Central Florida foster youth in need. The event takes place on Saturday, September 14 at Orlando’s Hard Rock Live with Dick Batchelor as the honorary chair and WFTV's Vanessa Echols and Greg Warmoth as emcees.
CBCCFL is pairing local celebrities with professional ballroom dancers to put on a show that is sure to have a lasting impact on the kids they serve. The six shining stars include Jan Carla Garavaglia, Chief Medical Examiner for Orange and Osceola counties and star of the series “Dr. G: Medical Examiner” on the Discovery Health Channel; WFTV & WRDQ’s Jorge Estevez; a trio of legal eagles, Mark O’Mara, Mark NeJame, and Diana Tennis; as well as Barb Scherer, SVP, Regional Marketing Director/Florida, Fifth Third Bank.
The funds raised through this gala event will go towards helping the nearly 600 children living in foster homes in Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties live a more “normal” life. The children, ages newborn to 21, require everything from a bed to sleep in to shoes on their feet, from dental care to prom dresses.
CBCCFL is currently seeking corporate and individual sponsors for Dance, Dream & Inspire. Sponsors of the event receive tickets to the gala as well as entry to an exclusive pre-performance VIP pre-party. Sponsorship packages range from $100-$10,000. Tickets to the dance show portion only are also available for $15 at Ticketmaster.com. For more information, visit www.DanceDreamInspire.com
