6th Annual Fall Festival Polk County's official visitor information center, Polk Outpost 27, will help visitors welcome the fall season this year with its sixth annual Fall Festival on Saturday, October 27 from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. This year we would like to highlight our area attractions at the festival, which is attended by 1,000 visitors each year. In addition, there will be a bounce house, obstacle course, free candy bag, craft and food vendors, games, movies and, of course, a pumpkin decorating contest with three age categories (3-9 years old, 10-15 years old, and 16 years to adult). Pumpkin Carving Contest Pumpkin entries will be accepted on Thursday October 25, and Friday October 26, from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. All pumpkins will be on display through judging which begins on Saturday, October 27 during the Fall Festival. Winners will be announced at 4:00 p.m. All entrants will receive a consolation prize, with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes awarded for total entries.
