The Marriage of Figaro is an "Upstairs, Downstairs" world filled with seduction, lust, infidelity, love and forgiveness all woven together seamlessly with sublime music. The Count and Countess Almaviva's clever maid Susanna and her fiancée, Figaro the valet, plot to outwit the Count and his philandering ways in this comedy many opera lovers consider Mozart's most "perfectly" written opera.
Sung in Italian with English supertitles.

Plot Synopsis:
The Count Almiviva is bored in his idyllic marriage to his faithful Countess and turns to the feudal privilege of droit de seigneur, the lord’s right to enjoy the bride of his servant on their wedding night. His engaged servants, Figaro and Susanna, as well as The Countess, object to his plans. A comedy unfolds as the Countess, Figaro and Susanna dupe the Count, and everyone in the household becomes part of the “day of madness.” Identities are exchanged, oaths of undying love are pledged and even the accomplices get confused.
