The Pendás Law Firm, will be distributing 1,500 free turkeys to Central Florida families in need, this coming Tuesday, November 20, from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., at their principle office located at 625 E. Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL 32803.

“We have so many families in the Central Florida area facing financial hardships due to the struggling economy. For some families, it has reached the point to where a traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner is not possible.  It is for this reason that I have decided to give away 1,000 turkeys as a way of showing these families to keep their faith,” expressed the attorney Lou Pendás, owner of the law firm.

Any and all families in need are welcomed to drive by and receive their free turkey.  Please keep in mind that the distribution relies on a “first come, first serve” basis and is estimated to run from 7:30 a.m. to 10;00 a.m., or until the turkeys last. No family will need to present any kind of hardship documentation.

This is the fourth year for Mr. Pendas,  giving away turkeys for the thanksgiving dinner for families in need, in the state. This year he will be giving away over 3,000 turkeys across the sunshine state. He started in 2009, with 1,000 turkeys for families in need in Central Florida. The year after, he doubled the amount of turkeys, in order to include families in need in the Tampa Bay area. Last year, for the first time, he included the Southwest area. This year he will increase from 1,000 to 1,500 the amount to be distributing in central Florida.
