On Friday, December 7, Winter Park’s Hannibal Square Merchants Association will present Hannibal Square Holiday, a food and wine celebration benefiting the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra. Hannibal Square merchants and area restaurants, including Armando’s, Chez Vincent, Dexter’s, Mi Tomatina, Tollas, and others, will provide food and wine between 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on New England Avenue, between Virginia Ave and Pennsylvania Ave in Winter Park, Musicians from the Orlando Philharmonic will provide seasonal music.
Tickets are $25 in advance, or $30 on the day of the event. Children under 12 are free. Groups of ten tickets are available for $20 each. Tickets may be purchased online at www.hannibalsquare.com/holidayevent or at participating locations on New England Avenue.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra. In the spirit of the season, attendees are also encouraged to bring toys for donation to Winter Park families in need.
Now celebrating its 20th Anniversary Season, the Orlando Philharmonic is Central Florida’s resident professional orchestra, appearing in over 125 performances each year. The orchestra offers a variety of programs, from classical and pops concerts to chamber music, staged musicals and opera productions.
