Supporting Acts: Infinite Earths, Slag Sowester "Even with the occasional spacey effect, their blend of sludge, doom and stoner metal is dark without being silly, often moving with a bluesy Sabbath creep. It's a well-paced, well-calibrated sound that effectively balances heft, dynamics and tons of growling fuzz, all without getting too fancy. And they meet the requisite quota of at least one serious wizard beard. With a debut this convincing, p ut 'em on your radar now." - Orlando Weekly We practice in a converted storage unit that is covered in carpet that was found on the side of the road. Consequently, when we rehearse, our legs start to itch really badly. One time the guy in the unit next to us dropped an enormous PA cabinet on his hand and cut off the top of his finger. Two of us administered first aid, and one of us sat in the corner, mortified at the sight of the poor man's blood (said person is also deathly afraid of insects). Matt Sr. is fascinated with pink (the color, not the singer) and is probably single-handedly making an otherwise ultra-macho band somewhat effeminate. But we are all pretty nice guys and play loud, lumbering metal, with touches of melody and flighty ascending bridges...like if a mastodon mated with a unicorn. $10.00
