The City of Ocoee's Parks and Recreation Department is hosting an 8-Team Double Elimination Co-Ed Kickball Tournament on Saturday, January 19 to raise money for the Big Orange Games.   Registration is open now through January 18 at the Jim Beech Recreation Center, 1820 A.D. Mims Road. The registration fee is $100. The winning team will be given free entry into the city’s summer Co-Ed Kickball League.

Funds raised from the kickball tournament will go toward the Big Orange Games to be held on April 20, 2013 at Ocoee High School. The Big Orange Games, sponsored by the City of Ocoee each year, gives physically challenged youth an opportunity to participate in competitive track and field events.  The games show that ‘disabled’ does not mean ‘unable’.  The City of Ocoee is the only municipality in Central Florida to host an event like the Big Orange Games.

For more information on the kickball tournament, please call the Ocoee Parks and Recreation Department at 407-905-3180 or visit www.ocoee.org.
