“The Great American Songbook,” a stunning journey through a century of American music. Each chapter of the songbook is brought to life through show-stopping performances by a dazzling cast of eight performers and a sizzling jazz trio, along with creative sets, colorful costumes and clever choreography!
This innovative, potpourri of popular music showcases many scenes: a 1940s-style “live radio show,” a look back to the ‘50s most popular hits and a salute to Motown’s Temptations and The Supremes. Classics from great American masters like Rodgers and Hammerstein, Harold Arlen and the Gershwins are revamped into dazzling production numbers and spine-tingling tap dance routines. Plus, our newest chapter features songs from today’s hit-makers, including Michael Bublé, Ray Charles and Billy Joel.
With lush musical arrangements of award-winning songs, from “Route 66” to “Bridge Over Troubled Waters,” culminating with a patriotic finale, you’ll be proud to be an American. There’s a memorable musical moment for every family member in “The Great American Songbook!”
