Presented by Brandy Hill, Ph.D., this colloquium presentation will discuss how volunteer service can be both included and impactful in strategies to address local challenges. This presentation will describe the ways cities drive demand for volunteer service. A grounded theory model for volunteer service demand from the perspective of the city and a generalized logic model for service as a strategy to address local challenges will also be discussed in this presentation.
