Start Time: 4:00 PM End Time: 5:00 PM Frogs, Folktales and 500 Years of Florida: Old Songs and the Sunshine State, featuring Adam Miller - Folksinger, Storyteller, and Autoharp Virtuoso. Five hundred years is a very long time for a song to be passed on from one generation to the next. After a while, nobody can remember the name of the person who wrote the song, and so it is said to be a "traditional folksong." Believe it or not, 21st-century Americans still sing traditional English-language folksongs that were sung five hundred years ago. Many of these old songs have evolved into well-loved picture books in the children's section of American public libraries. Join legendary folksinger, storyteller, and autoharp virtuoso Adam Miller for this participatory, multi-generational, English-language sing-along program for all ages. CDs will be available for purchase following the program. #vivaflorida Library: West Oaks Branch Location: West Oaks - Meeting Room 1 Contact: Amanda Maneiro Contact Number: 407.835.7491 Presenter: Adam Miller Link: Adam Miller
