Join Habitat for Humanity of Winter Park-Maitland for its fourth annual nighttime fundraiser on Saturday, February 23, at the Winter Park Country Club. A catered dinner party, live music, silent auction and golf tournament using glow-in-the-dark balls are included in the evenings activities. Tee-off time is 6 pm. The after-party begins at 7:30 pm. The dinner party and silent auction will be catered by Ruth's Hospitality Group Inc, parent company of Ruths Chris Steak House and Mitchells Fish Market, and a Habitat sponsoring partner. A-Train Jazz is providing the evenings musical entertainment. Items up for bid at previous fundraiser included portrait sessions, spa services, an autographed Magic basketball, sporting event tickets, gift baskets, a boat tour, golf equipment and dining at area restaurants. Participation in the golf tournament is not required to participate in the rest of the festivities, though a $20 donation at the door is requested. To golf, there is a $50 fee per individual and $175 per foursome. The goal is to raise $10,000, 10% of the cost of a new Habitat home. All proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity of Winter Park-Maitland. To participate in the tournament, sponsor a hole, donate items for the silent auction or for more information, contact Robbie Schultz at 407-462-8751 or firstname.lastname@example.org, or Kassi Bernard at email@example.com or 407-645-4408.
