The Education Foundation of Osceola County will host the 2013 Education Awards at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center on March 15,2013 to honor the 128 Osceola School District employees who have been nominated for the Teacher of the Year and School Related Employee of the Year awards.

Over 600 guests areexpected to attend the elegant evening ceremony, which will be held in the Osceola Ballroom. Registration will begin at 5:30 pm, with the festivities set to begin at 6:30 pm.

“The Education Foundation is honored to have hosted this event for our school districtemployees for over 16 years, and it is a priority for us to give them all a wonderful, memorableevening to honor all of their hard work and dedication,” said Kathy Carr, Foundation Executive Director.

This year, the winning Teacher of the Year and School Related Employee of the Yearwill receive an abundance of gifts and prizes - donated by generous business and communitysponsors – from cash and flowers, to gift cards, resort stays, and laptop computers.
