Supporting Acts: Leilani Wolfgramm, Weekend Overdose Hor!Zen
“Dirty South Dub Rock” explains a lot when it comes to Hor!zen. This is a band with one of the most intriguing sounds in the quickly emerging reggae-rock scene. Through their songs Hor!zen shines light on the good and bad of Florida street life, specifically their home town Orlando. The group is geared for the release of their new EP entitled “Bottom Out”, produced by James M. Wisner (Slightly Stoopid, Supervillains and a who’s who of hip-hop and r&b artists), which will be released September 18th 2009. The band has now shared the stage with prominent bands in the reggae–rock scene such as New School Dropouts, Passafire, Ballyhoo!, Rude Buddah, Stone Senses, Natural Vibrations, The Duppies, B liminal, Outlaw Nation, Lionize, Scholar’s Word, The Supervillains, B Foundation, SOJA, Iration, Pato Banton & The Mystic Roots Band, The Movement and John Brown’s Body. As a regular feature in Orlando venues like The Social, Firestone and The Backbooth it is safe to say that Hor!zen is officially established as a band to be reckoned with in the reggae rock scene.
