Enjoy new ideas and fresh inspiration during a casual community conversation with great city leaders in the Urban Think Foundation’s new series, Urban Thought: Community-minded Conversations with Orlando’s Biggest Thinkers. Host Craig Ustler, currently serving as the Foundation’s Co-Chairman, discusses life and the state of Orlando’s arts and cultural scene with June’s Urban Thought guest, Kathy Ramsberger, President of the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
Kathy Ramsberger has been at the helm of the $500 million Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts project since 2002. As the Center’s President, she is responsible for leading the effort to create one of the nation’s newest performing arts centers of the 21st century. The Center is expected to deliver over 6,800 jobs and over $714 million in total economic impact upon completion. Ramsberger’s career is marked by more than 20 years of successful economic development, government relations, entertainment, design, and executive leadership experience.
The conversation will take place Thursday, June 13 at Urban ReThink, at 625 E. Central Blvd., Orlando, FL 32801. Breakfast and networking begins at 7:45 a.m. with the program itself starting at 8 a.m.
This is the second Urban Thought breakfast discussion. Craig Ustler hosted Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer as Urban Thought’s inaugural guest in March 2013. Video feed can be found at http://bit.ly/10pV60G.
