What's more fun to a kid than getting their hands dirty in the name of art? Students will learn a variety of hand-building pottery techniques, including slab, pinch, coil and sculpture, as well as glazing. Outlaw Pottery popular youth pottery classes are limited to only seven children in each class, so pre-register now before the next session fills up! The classes are 6 weeks long and have a start and end date each season. Previous students have created face mugs, creature ice cream bowls, Wild Kids plaques, wall pockets, dragons, chimes, coil pots, candle holders, tiki masks, snack bowls, pinch pots, vases, turtles, lizards, fish and more! Every session is different and loads of messy fun! Pottery will be glazed with certified lead-free, non-toxic glazes and high-fired so that all pottery will be food, dishwasher and microwave safe. Students can pick up their finished, fired pieces a month after the last class.
