Mark's new song "Living on the Wrong Side of the Law" is a song about the legendary Jesse James and will be available on iTUNES and Amazon.com soon.
Formerly called JeNDer, The Accuzed is a rock band started by Richie DiStefano made up of five very talented musicians, including Bryan Athan, Stevie Kiu, Sarah Jane Siebert, Jim Kinler and Richie DeStefano.
Richie is the drummer for the band, as well as one of the lead vocalists. Originally from Flushing, NY and now residing in Lake Mary, FL, Richie has spent the last 46 years playing drums and singing in various bands in New York, Colorado, Las Vegas and Florida. He is the founder of the Southern Rock & Blues Band in Diablo Canyon, CO. That band was the opening act for many national headline bands, including Marshall Tucker, Molly Hatchet, and 38 Special, to name a few.
Bryan is one of the guitarists for the band and is also a native Floridian. Having grown up in Casselberry and Altamonte Springs, FL, Bryan has been playing the guitar since he was six years old. He played with the High School Stage Band at Lake Brantley HS. Bryan’s musical career really began with a tour of duty in the United States Army at age 17 as a guitarist (02T) for the 3rd Armored Division Band in Frankfurt, Germany. During that time, Bryan was also part of a jazz combo gig behind the Iron Curtain at the American Ambassador’s residence.
Jim is another guitarist for the band. He started playing the guitar at age twelve and then aspired to be a songwriter. After playing in high school rock bands, Jim joined an acoustic duo as a senior in high school. While his classmates were going to the school dances, Jim was playing concerts with acts like Blackfoot and Ted Nugent. Jim had the opportunity to play in a variety of bands from metal to country, and he received a record deal with Columbia records, he wrote a movie score, 2 albums, numerous 45’s, 5 videos, and he’s still playing in the Central U.S. After touring for years with a national act out of Nashville, Jim came home to Central Florida and played with JeNDer for four years.
Stevie is another one of the guitarists, as well as the keyboard player and a vocalist for the band. Mostly a self-taught player who started around the age of eight with an old air organ, Stevie learned guitar and keyboard simultaneously throughout his early teens. He was accepted to play for “Rock Ensemble” in 7th and 8th grade. This was similar to the “School of Rock” concept, where kids were taught to play rock songs in a band environment and then played at other schools in the area. Stevie played in rock bands throughout high school and into his early 20’s as a keyboardist, guitarist and lead vocals, depending on the needs of the bands. One of his favorite musical memories is when he entertained approximately 3,000 troops during a weekend event with ProTours Media in Djibuti, Africa.
Sarah Seibert is the lead vocalist and newest member of The Accuzed. Her love for music began at age five and inspired her to take private vocal lessons throughout high school. Sarah started performing live at the age of eleven and joined a previous rock band called The Sirens of Poseidon from 2008 to 2010. Sarah was born in Westerville, OH and lived in many other cities in Southeastern Ohio, Northern Texas and Central Florida.
