Lakeridge Winery invites you to join us as we celebrate the holidays at our 2nd Annual Wine & Chocolate Festivalon December 8th & 9th. The event will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. This two-day outdoor festival will feature live music, an arts & craft show, and award-winning Lakeridge Wines paired with Godiva chocolates. A $2 donation will be collected at the gate to benefit The American Heart Association and and parking is free for all guests. The first 300 guests to donate at the gate each day will receive a special door prize.

The musical lineup includes two bands each day who never fail to get the crowd singing & dancing along with their hits. Solo performances by Robert Harris and Marc Clermont will also be featured Saturday and Sunday afternoon in the Hospitalty Cellar which is located on the 2nd floor of the Wine Shop. Plenty of seating will be available on the festival grounds, but you are welcome to bring your own chairs and blankets. No coolers or picnic baskets please, as we have everything you'll need. There will be food & beverage vendors serving a variety of dishes and other treats for purchase, including domestic & imported beers and Lakeridge wines by the glass.

The tours will run approximately every 20 minutes until 4 p.m. and the wine tasting will be held continuously throughout the festival until 5 p.m. Co-sponsored by Godiva, the wine tasting will include a sample of Godiva chocolates paired with some of the wines. Aside from the delicious Lakeridge wine and Godiva chocolate, a highlight of the wine tasting is that it is held inside the Lakeridge Winery production facility, where you will have the opportunity to see the many fermentation tanks and bottling equipment from a much closer perspective than on a normal tour.

The arts & craft show will showcase many local artistisans & crafters including precious stone jewelers, woodturners, painters, and many more. There will also be a Lakeridge Winery booth on the festival grounds where you can sign up for a chance to win a flat screen HDTV. You should not pass up this opportunity as there is no charge to enter the giveaway.
