Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer invites Central Florida residents and visitors to attend the 37th annual Fireworks at the Fountain on Friday, July 4, 2014 from 4:00pm until 10:00pm at Lake Eola Park in Downtown Orlando.
Guests are encouraged to arrive early in order to find a choice viewing spot. There will be large kids' area and food and beverages available for purchase.
Entertainment begins at 4:00pm throughout the park, featuring live music on the K92.3 stage and the Lake Eola Amphitheatre. At 8:30 p.m. guests in the park will enjoy patriotic performances from the Orlando Concert Band and Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, who will play at the event for the first time.
The night will conclude with a patriotic firework display, which will begin at 9:10 p.m., accompanied by a performance from the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra.
If you can't make it out to the park for the celebration, WFTV Channel 9 will be broadcasting the show live in HD at 9:00pm!
The free LYMMO circulator is recommended for Downtown residents and attendees parking at garages others than the Orange County Library Garage (located at 112 East Central Boulevard). SunRail will not be in service on July 4. Handicapped parking will be available on Rosalind Avenue between Jackson Street and Central Boulevard on July 4 for the event. Please approach the road closure and show the police officer your handicapped designation for parking.
