Central Florida shows its patriotism by paying homage to America's fallen service men and women when the City of Orlando presents its annual Veterans Day Parade, Saturday, November 14th. Bring the family, enjoy marching bands and floats, including 15 floats that have been featured in the Gasparilla parade in Tampa, and salute the men and women from over 150 central Florida veterans’ organizations. Internationally known artist Gary Gessford will offer a three-day Landscape Painting Workshop for intermediate and advanced students of watercolor, acrylic and oils, Friday through Sunday at Bok Tower Gardens. This fall, children between the ages of 5 and 10-years-old are invited to enter the Citrus Parade Drawing Contest.
